Oh how I love the holidays. I'm home, finally. I actually came home late last night, against my mothers wishes, but that's fine. LOL! She and my sister drove me home, stayed the night and shopped in the city today. I can't imagine how crazy it had to be for them. I was exhausted just hanging out in the book store. We got a good number of new customers today, so I'm thinking we're good for that, and it was never dull, but we're not the chains, so we never do as well as they do. But we love our customers, and they keep us afloat, so it's all good.

Thanksgiving was a huge mess for me. I know my family don't think I should be vegetarian, I get that. But when I'm willing to bring my own food, and make it, the least they can do is not try to feed me their meat. I brought some tofurkey with me and cooked it separately on Wednesday night because I knew it wouldn't get done otherwise. So, Thanksgiving dinner comes along, what do they do? Put real turkey on my plate, forgetting to bring mine in. Ugh! I went in and got mine, got a new plate and then growled, carrying a jar of pickles along with me back to the table and sat and grossed everyone out with the pickles and tofurkey. I had my payback. :D

I worked today, having lots of people come in and comment on my belly. It was insane. But fun. Thank goodness we didn't open up early. 11am was plenty early for me to be up and at 'em. I worked open to close today - so 11-7pm. Not a bad shift, if I do say so myself. It's good to have this job, I am so lucky I fell into it.

Back home yesterday I visited Michaels grandma and she thought I looked "positively glowing." Apparently my pregnancy is doing wonders for my skin. I didn't mention that I break out more often... she can see the beauty in me if she wants. I'll take it. :D :D But she was so glad to be allowed to see the baby's process. I gave her the ultrasound pictures so she can put them on her fridge. I know Michael comes over some times, maybe he will see them and care, though I'm not holding my breath. He's just not ready for that. And that's totally fine. We can do this alone. His grandma helps us out with rent and my parents do other things for us. So we're all set. It's a nice set up, and I can still be in classes - until this spring when I have her - and keep up with it, and keep up with work too. I saw the cutest little thing in the window of this store today on my walk home. It was this little pair of jeans and this little dress that had a patchwork skirt part with this black turtleneck upper. It was so cute, and it was shown with these patten leather shoes and a tiny headband. I wanted to squeal it was so cute. But seeing as how she's not even born yet? Might not be a good thing to buy it just yet... Grr!

Some day. Anyway. I'm home and at the store all the time. I'm in class in the mornings but work in the afternoons. My mom's back home now, so she and my sister made it back to Jersey safely. Gotta worry about that some times. ;)

I think me and Buttons will sit on the deck and just watch the stars. Its so nice out today.

OH! One more thing:
